Lennon and Maisy
We can't get enough of the Stella Sisters, Lennon and Maisy. These girl grew up on a farm in Ontario, Canada, where they listened to vinyl records and didn't have internet or cable. Funny that the girls are now on the TV show drama Nashville. The girls duet together, playing guitar, ukelele, piano and drums. We especially love the video below where the percussion is plastic butter tubs!
Don't forget to follow along on Pinterest, where we are posting extra photos of the girls!

Many Moons
Sharing some Monday inspiration music. Most talented and original artist to come out in the past few years, Janelle Monae. You can witness her creativity and positive attitude when you watch her in interviews and through her music. She truly understands her purpose as a musician and performer, letting her passion lead the way to uplift and inspire others. Hoping some Janelle will rub off on me during this busy week, working on new Fall Kira styles....

Silly Bandz
Newest kid craze: Silly bandz... cute silicone die molded bands in endless shapes worn as bracelets on kids everywhere. They've even made a music video about it!
At $5 for a pack of 24, creator Robert Croak says business has grown ten times in the last six months. The original animal bands were used as office supplies. The Japanese creators have been recognized with national design awards and the bands were being sold in limited quantities at the Museum of Modern Art Store. Following its predecessors of Beanie Babies and Pokemon cards, Silly Bandz has been transformed by Croak into this year's must have collectible accessory item for kids.
